Rule 42
Notice of question

(1) Any member who wishes to ask a question shall also inform the Secretary of the opening of the following matters:-(a) the question to be asked, (b) the minister concerned with the question, and (c) the date on which the answer to the question is sought. (2) If the notice of question is signed by more than one member, it shall be considered that the member who signs first has given the notice in accordance with sub-rule (1). However, if the first signing member is absent, there will be no obstacle to maintaining the question of the questioning member according to the order of registration. However, this bye-law shall not be deemed to prevent the president from reading out the names of all the questioning members in the meeting.
